Surface pressure gauges

()

What are surface pressure gauges for diving bottles?

Surface pressure gauges are breathing gas monitoring instruments that are important parts of supplies for scuba diving. Scuba divers can only go diving under the water if they have a sufficient amount of breathing gas. Without estimating how much breathing gas you have held in your tank has the risk of running out of breathing gas which is a very dangerous situation. The brands that offer surface pressure gauges are Cressi, Metalsub, Aqualung, and Apeks, and Best Divers.
The pressure gauge linked to the foremost stage through a high pressure hose for both rear mounted and side mounted scuba tanks. Once the tank is started to supply the gas and the hoses are compressed, strain fills the pipe and pushes it to turn. The pressure gauge needle is connected to this pipe and will move as the pressure rises or drops. The surface of the pressure gauge itself is equipped with transparent glass so the movement of the needle is easily examined. Analog surface pressure gauges are typically easy to read and provide a reliable indication of the amount of air remaining in the tank.
Analog surface pressure gauges work by measuring the pressure of the air inside the tank and displaying it on a dial or gauge face. As a diver uses air from the tank, the pressure in the tank decreases and the gauge needle moves accordingly. This allows the diver to monitor the amount of air remaining in the tank and plan their dive accordingly.
