The BC 14.16 is the perfect computer for attacking the hills. Enhanced altitude measuring functions include an altitude profile graph and current gradient.
Using NFC technology and the free SIGMA LINK app, the BC14.16 can communicate with Android smartphones to program and download ride data.
Also available in an STS wireless and STS double wireless version (wireless speed and cadence).
Over 14 functions:
The more than 14 functions of the BC 14.16 are clearly and partly graphically displayed on the large dot matrix display screen. In addition to the classic bike functions, the BC 14.16 has six altitude features and in the STS CAD variant, two cadence functions.
High-percentage:
In addition to the classic altimeter functions, the BC 14.16 also shows the altitude profile and the ascent percentages.
NFC & SIGMA LINK:
The BC 14.16 has a built-in NFC chip. Using NFC (near field communication)*, the data of a trip can be read directly on the smartphone. Also settings can be made on BC 14.16 by means of radio transmission. For this purpose, the user loads the free SIGMA LINK app on the smartphone beforehand. Using this app, you can load your workout data on the SIGMA DATA CENTER or other training platforms (for example, Strava, Training Peaks).
*The NFC technology is currently available only on Android smartphones.
Adjustable wheel sizes:
Got more than one bike? Two wheel sizes can be programmed into the BC 14.16 to separate ride data. For the wired version, choose bike 1 or bike 2 in the settings menu. The STS wireless version automatically switches from bike 1 or bike 2 based on the transmitter signal.
Predefined tire sizes:
Setting the wheel size is extremely easy using the tire size. From 16 inches to 700C to 29 inches, the wheel size can be set easily using predefined tire sizes. Of course, it is also possible to manually enter the wheel size in millimetres.
Speed comparison:
A comparison of the current and average speed. While cycling, a permanent comparison is made of your current and average speeds. The difference is indicated by an up or down arrow. When moving at approximately the average speed, no arrow is displayed.
Workout statistics for 12 months:
In addition to total values, the BC 14.16 keeps track of statistics for the last twelve months. The “workout diary” helps compare and analyze monthly activities.

All functions work well, section timer is also convenient. Very easy to set bike 1 and 2. Altimeter is only accurate if you often reset /calibrate for the current altitude, but the current gradient % function works without any calibration needed

You buy Sigma and forget apout it. I sold my old bike and old Sigma with it. Tried different BC brand out of curiosity... only to return it back in 14 days (battery ran out of juice after 200 km) and bought Sigma again!

I was skeptical to buy this product at first. I live in the United States and the device was not offered by Sigma in the USA for another couple of weeks. The other reason for hesitation was that the device was originating from Spain, which close to 8,000 miles away. Amazingly I received a tracking notice about 4 days after I placed my order. The device traveled from Spain to London to California to Los Angeles to my house in 4 days! Amazing! The device came brand new in a USA box with all instructions and parts as described. The unit works great. I love it. It displays everything you need including vertical elevation, temperature and all normal speed. One unique feature is he ability to secure it on you handlebars (like all computers) or on your handlebar neck and reduce the clutter on your bars. The price is also phenomenal. The US must be benefitting from a favorable exchange rate. Less than half the US price. The only downside is that the device does not come with the docking station, which I knew in advance. If you want to upload your data to a computer and then the Sigma Cloud you need the docking station. I think it´s an 8 device. I may get it when its available in January next year for the new line of computers.

It is the ultimate mountain bike computer for both road and for those like me who do not seek advanced training. The size of characters is large and looks good for that as we age and presbyopia makes theirs. The altimeter is going very well marcándote the% at all times. Very happy with the product.

Sigma wireless altimeter

My old sigma monitor was run over when I forgot to put away.I order a new one through trade inn.com in Australia the service was great and the price was a lot less .The sigma altimeter had more functions than my old monitor and is compatible with my cadence monitor.It took me a little while to get the hang of it when I was setting it up but once I achieved this I found it very easy to use when I am riding.Would happily order through bikeinn (tradeinn)again.
