The shoe is extremely comfortable, it conveys a good traction feel, unfortunately the upper mesh is of quality quality, which shortens the validity to approximately 500km, not more than that. If you are willing and able to purchase shoes of 500 in 500 km, it is a good choice, otherwise they are too expensive.

Great shoes for long trainings/ultras

the shoes are comfortable right out of the box, as most altras do due to the foot shape toe box. this iteration conforms to the feet much better than the olympus 2.0 which were too sloppy. the shoes are plush enough for the long outings, without feeling to squishy. having ,tried the 3.0 version already, i must say i'm a bigger fan of the 2.5.
